Studio apartments are available in Pontedera (for long periods) as well as rooms in hotels with accommodation agreements with Modartech, however a wider range of solutions can be found in Pisa, a university town where apartments and single rooms are available. Pisa is only 15 minutes from Pontedera by train. The train service is frequent and runs between Pisa and Florence. Florence is 40 minutes away, with a greater variety of accommodation, but rent and travel costs are generally higher than Pisa.
