The Modartech College was granted a Privilege Partnership by Lectra, the world leader in CAD technology solutions for the apparel and footwear sectors. This partnership, which has been granted to only a small number of other colleges and universities throughout the world, will allow Modartech students to benefit from enormous possibilities in terms of training, innovative technologies and market visibility.

The Lectra philosophy recognises the great importance of educational training, and through its Education Division it has set up partnership agreements with schools, universities and institutes selected according to criteria of excellence.

Lectra and Modartech have set up an agreement to share their experience and expertise in common sectors, market analysis, company and process management, new technologies and fashion trends.

In addition, Lectra provides the possibility of being part of a unique environment able to expand and diffuse information exchange between professors, consultants and directors of partner institutes, as well as with professional figures in many of the most prominent companies in the fashion industry.
Examples of these exchanges include the possibility for students to participate in contests and internships with many international Lectra partner companies.

Another example of Lectra’s commitment is their Education Congress, organised every year acting as an exchange platform between the various fashion schools and universities and prominent speakers who are international experts in their sector. These events deal with a range of topics relative to the fashion sector including clothing and accessory design and development, technological solutions, teaching methods, etc.
